A collaboration protocol between the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) and DND Homes has been signed at the EMU Rectorate. The said protocol aims to offer mutual advantages in fields like internships, summer programs, recruitment, and research and development. The agreement enhances EMU’s role in connecting industry with academia and signifies the start of this initiative for DND Homes.
The said collaboration protocol was signed by EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç and the CEO of DND Homes Ozan Dökmecioğlu. Within the scope of the protocol, EMU students will have access to internship and summer training opportunities with DND Homes’ projects, along with academic support and mentorship. EMU students will also be able to participate in career days and workshops organized by DND Homes and will receive priority in recruitment processes. Moreover, the protocol aims for EMU to provide research, development, and academic expertise for the projects of DND Homes, and to offer academic support for technology and innovation initiatives.

In his address during the signing of the protocol, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç wished for the protocol to be beneficial for both parties and noted that the protocol is to provide great opportunities for the students. Prof. Dr. Kılıç also said; “At EMU, we are committed to bridging the divide between industry and academia. Our collaboration with DND Homes signals the start of upcoming projects and initiatives.”.
