The 'Occupational Safety and Health Laboratory' is established to provide students with hands on practice on how to monitor workplace hazards (physical and chemical agents, and indoor air quality). Experiments are designed to posess the students with the knowledge, skills and experience on how to
1. apply appropriate methodologies for work environment hazard assessment,
2. use the necessary devices and evaluate the measurement results,
3. decide on preventive measures to protect workforce from illness and injury,
Students will understand better how to identify, assess and manage risk.
